The Center has developed many “train for the trainer’s” programs for other educational institutions or organizations on case teaching method.

Each training program has a focused topic, and is designed elaborately with several sections including lecture, class demonstration, group simulation, groupdiscussion, performance evaluation etc..

According to a recent survey, about 86 cases have been taught in MPA courses. It helps many central and local government officials to improve their strategic thinking, forward-looking vision and decision-making ability.

The Center has built a website to display the abstracts of its case studies in order to serve other MPA programs in China.

Eight cases written by the Center have been selected to be translated into English and used by the John F. The Center has developed a set of complete and clear procedures on case writing.

Each case writer shall conduct a case study including literature review and field work.Case Teaching To provide sufficient number of cases for classroom teaching, the Center has collaborated with Harvard University, Syracuse University, Washington State University for more than 3 years.In March 2007, the SPPM has been granted the non-exclusive right to translate the case studies of the John F.All faculty members and students of the SPPM may participate in case writing according to their own interests.Up to now two casebooks on Public Management in China have been published by Tsinghua University Press .The Center has engaged in intensive cooperation with local and central governments, firms and non-profit organizations.The case studies have been made throughout Shanxi, Jiangsu, Anhui and Hebei provinces in China in 2007.China Case Center for Public Policy & Management (CCCPPM) was founded on July 3rd, 2004.CCCPPM is to write and store professional cases on China for the courses developed by the School of Public Policy & Management (SPPM), Tsinghua University in order to improve the quality of teaching and train qualified professional public managers.China Case Center for Public Policy & Management would like to have an intensive cooperation with departments of both central and local governments, non-profit organizations, Chinese and foreign universities on developing case teaching, case writing and training programs.Let’s work together to contribute to the future of the public policy and management education in China.
