They provide the much desired change in the dull academic life of the college.

In fact, the college sports day is an eagerly awaited day.

When their excess energy is channelled, they can concentrate better their heart and soul on studies. Games and sports have their rules of conduct and students are supposed to obey them in the play-field.

All this mends their unruly behaviour and makes them more disciplined.

Now they certainly need some diversion in their serious routine-work.

It is true that study is the primary objective of the school curriculum.This year, the college sports meet was held on the 15 of February last. The students started gathering in the grounds early in the morning. In the evening, the chief guest gave away prizes to the winners. The main objective of this website is to provide quality study material to all students (from 1st to 12th class of any board) irrespective of their background as our motto is “Education for Everyone”.The college grounds were well marked with lime and small flags. The chief guest, in her short speech, inspired students to make a larger participation in games and sports. It is also a very good platform for teachers who want to share their valuable knowledge.The annual sports day is an essential part of school education. Students go to school, sit tight in their respective classrooms for hours together and visit the reading-room to collect materials for their study.Thus they keep themselves busy all day with activities relating to study.But 'all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy.' So co-curricular activities are provided to students to keep them active all the time. Each school has an athletic association of its own. There is a Secretary duly elected by students to manage the show.The teacher for Physical education is there to guide the association in all athletic activities.A beautiful shamiana was put up in one corner of the ground. She was received at the welcome gate by the Principle, members of the staff and some senior most athletes. The sports meet was presided over by veteran sportswoman P. She unfurled the college flag and declared the meet open. The senior athletes, on behalf of the participants, took an oath that the players would participate in games in the true spirit of sportsmanship. First, we saw items like high jump, long jump, discus throw, hammer throw, shot put, etc. For the girls there were items like chati race, potato race, musical chair race and sack race. Sports are essential for achieving the true education. The day started with the unfurling of the college flag and the march past of the athletes belonging to all the classes taught in the college.
